Saving you from
the mundane
CREATING AN EMERGENCY SERVICE FOR SUBARU
Making a car less ordinary by turning it into an emergency vehicle.
Subaru was launching the new XV - the perfect city car that's also capable enough to get you out and exploring on the weekends. But for most Australians, there's a bigger threat to their precious two days off a week.
Work.
With Australians working longer hours than ever before, we launched a new emergency service to save them from themselves.
Those who felt they were starting to succumb to work-induced boredom could report in to the XV Rescue website, where they could be diagnosed and register a cry for help. The cases who were considered most in need were rescued from their place of business and taken out into the world for a timely reminder of just what they were missing out on.
Within the site itself, we built an interactive first-person video where one of the XV Rescue crew members would test your eye movement, monitor your Facebook feed and give you an on-the-spot diagnosis as to just how severe your work-induced state appeared to be.
Throughout, we positioned the new Subaru XV as an antidote for the overworked, showing anyone who was feeling the pressure of the daily grind that help was at hand.
